Tina Joyce D.O., a Family Physician, is the inspiration for the Concord Health and Wellness Center, Joyce Family Medicine, and the Signature M.D. program. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University Magna Cum Laude and earned her Osteopathic Degree while completing a teaching fellowship at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She finished her training as Chief Resident at University Hospital Richmond Heights, after which she opened up her own family medicine clinic. While the practice continues to evolve and grow Dr. Joyce remains focused on preventative health and educating her patients. She has served as an assistant Professor for Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, plus held numerous Board positions for various committees and departments within the Lake Health System, including President of the Family Medicine Department.
She enjoys spending time with her five children, and competing in local road races. She can often be seen jogging with her two dogs. Dr. Joyce continues to be inspired by her patients and endeavors to offer the best possible health outcomes through self-motivation, education, traditional medicine, and alternative treatments.
Donna Sheahan, NP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner
Donna is a mid-level provider trained to assess, treat, and coordinate care for patients. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a B.S. in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for twenty years at University Hospitals lastly in wound care. Prior to joining Dr. Joyce she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College, became a member of the Ohio Association of Advance Practice Nurses and Certified Wound Care Specialist.
When not treating patients Donna enjoys road races, working out, waterskiing, spending time with her three boys and husband, and friends. Donna’s motivation stems from the family atmosphere in the office and being a health advocate for her patients.
The Wellness Team
Peter Joyce, Director of Operations
Oversees office operations and procedures of Dr. Joyce’s three different programs. Prior to working with his wife, he was a purchasing manager for a point of sales display manufacturer.
Peter graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Finance and a Master in Business Administration from Ohio University. In his spare time, Peter enjoys long walks in the woods, often the result of him chasing a little white golf ball that he mistakenly hit there, and acts as an Uber driver for his five children. He finds inspiration in quote that he keeps at his desk; “Some people dream of success… While others wake up and work hard at it.” He continuously strives to support his wife’s vision for her practice of empowering patients to maximize their health.
Anne, Office Manager
Handles all things billing and insurance related in the office. Her keen eye for detail and sense of humor keeps the office running in a smooth manner. She has brought a vast wealth of knowledge to the operation from her previous position where she was also an Office Manager. Anne is a big fan of all of the Cleveland Sports Teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Devan, Medical Assistant and Votiva Technician
Completes both clerical and clinical duties. She is Dr. Joyce’s longest tenured medical assistant as she joined the practice after graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assistants and uses her comprehensive knowledge to help Dr. Joyce’s concierge patients. Devan has completed her training for the Votiva FormaV and Morpheous8 and looks forward to helping patients look and feel their best. Outside of the office her son and daughter keep life busy and exciting. When she has a moment, Devan relishes reading suspense novels, gardening, and watching NASCAR with her husband. Devan enjoys providing support to all the providers in the office and helping patients achieve their optimum health.
Fatima, Medical Assistant and Votiva Technician
Completes both clerical and clinical duties. She can often be seen or heard as the first point of contact for patients either by greeting them at the reception window or over the phone. Throughout the day her pleasant manner comes through as she handles phone calls, scheduling, blood draws, and rooming patients. Fatima graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assistants and joined Dr. Joyce’s staff immediately afterwards. Fatima has completed her training for the Votiva FormaV and Morpheous8. As Dr. Joyce’s most experienced Votiva Technician she looks forward to transitioning into a larger roll within the Concord Health and Wellness Center to help clients look and feel their best. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her family, being outdoors, and working out with her big brothers. She finds motivation every day in the love and support of her family and brings that positive attitude to the office and in helping patients.
